Odfjell Drilling is looking for highly motivatedRoughnecks to join the Competence Pool.
C-pool personnel is not on a fixed rotation – and highlevel of work flexibility will be required.
The recruitment will be a continuous processthroughout 2025.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant education/certificate from technical ormechanical school/education
- Systematic familiarisation/competence assessment(s)for position
- Documented practical experience from drillingoperations
- Fluent written/oral Norwegian and English language
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Roughneck onboardSemi-submersible rig(s)
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Roughneck shall perform required work in connectionwith drilling operations, maintenance work on drilling equipment in thedrilling area
- Roughneck shall assist with working on Shale Shakers
- Roughneck shall assist Rig Mechanic
- Roughneck has a duty to comply with Odfjell’s jobinstructions at all times, while displaying a great degree of flexibility inthe role and providing assistance where Offshore Installation Manager finds itappropriate
- Roughneck shall take orders from superiors
- Follow up daily/weekly maintenance routines
- Responsible for housekeeping in own areas
