Deepsea Bollsta
Deepsea Bollsta is an enhanced and extended CS 60 E harsh environment design. Clean design, NOx friendly with SCR environmental improved power units and set up for operations with closed bus (ER) operations.
The unit is designed for operations in both benign and harsh environments and at water depths of up to 3,000 m.
It is equipped with a full conventional mooring spread for operations in water depths of 70 to 500 metres.
The 7,500 mt loading capacity in all operating conditions ensures efficiency, with a reduced need for supply vessels. Successful operations performed in Barents Sea during wintertime, and the unit is prepared for winterization Class notation for improved working conditions in an arctic environment.
The rig has a state-of-the-art, highly efficient drilling system, which includes a high spec NOV derrick with capability of offline DP stand- and casing building activities.
The rig is capable for worldwide operation and is especially suitable for exploration- and development drilling in harsh environments.
